Welcome to my first post!
Today, I would like to share you my pretty good experience when eating at Boka Buka with my best friend for celebrating Christmas.
Boka Buka is a French Restaurant which located at Jl. Cipete Raya No.1. We were interested to come here because we were craving for a French food. We both are a first jobber, so it's essential for us to find a pleasant restaurant with an affordable prices. After a tight research on Google, we chose Boka Buka restaurant to spend our quality time together.
For us, the place was quite easy to find because it's located near the main road. From the very first step inside, we could already feel the cozy ambiance from the fine interior which makes you feel at home. We were looking around and... huh? It turned out that we were the only guests here. Seriously, I swear to you we didn't book this place just for us both!
The waitress greeted us with gracious smile and guided us to our table. She was also courteous while explaining the menu to us. Between our small talk, the waitress served us 2 hot ginger on small glasses. It was a thoughtful service on the midst of a cold, rainy day.
While we were sipping the hot ginger, the anticipated Butterbeer Latte came! We were really excited to taste an alcohol free beverage which shared the same name with popular wizarding beverage in Harry Potter world.
A decent taste of cinnamon blended smoothly with the well-steamed milk with a bit froth at the top. It was leaving a sweet, but a bit buttery taste at mouth. Definitely a brand new experience for us!
While we were still sipping the delightful Butterbeer Latte, here came our chosen Les Entrée or appetizer, the Escargots De Bourgogne. Escargots De Bourgogne is the signature dish of Boka Buka. It is 6 pieces baked escargots with parsley and Boka Buka signature garlic butter. For your information, they also provide 12 pieces set of Escargots De Bourgogne. It was served at a thin metal plate with 6 holes which suitable to put the escargots one by one inside. It was also including 2 tweezers and 2 forks for both of us. Put aside the sophisticated cutlery, the appearance of the escargots themselves were delightful enough to stir our curiosity.
To be continued...
